Partnership announcement: April 2025.

Connecting AI learning with the work businesses need to do

Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone announced a partnership with Koshima in April 2025 to support practical AI learning and consultancy for businesses in its community.

The agreement brought together RAKEZ’s business support services and Koshima’s approach to understanding roles, tasks and activities before preparing hands-on learning.

The purpose was to help businesses move from seeing what an AI tool can do to understanding how to use it in their own work. That can include preparing documents, reviewing information, comparing options and completing recurring tasks with clear human checks.

PAUSE AND CHECK

Relevance is what makes learning useful.

A team should recognise the work in an exercise. They need to understand the information to provide, the steps to follow and what to check before using the result.

A partnership focused on practical use

In the announcement, RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad said: “We are thrilled to partner with Koshima”. He described the partnership as a way to help clients build AI knowledge and practical capability.

Koshima Co-Founder Rob Hayes described the shared aim as helping companies make purposeful, measurable use of AI across workforce productivity and business processes.

The emphasis is on helping people use AI with a clear purpose in the business, rather than treating familiarity with a tool as the final result.

What this means for a business considering AI learning

Useful preparation begins by understanding the audience. Different teams work with different information, responsibilities and decisions. A procurement team comparing supplier proposals needs different exercises from a team preparing customer communications.

Koshima’s current learning offers are Practical Workshops and Enablement Programmes. Both use tasks relevant to the audience. Programmes provide more time for practice at work and feedback between sessions, with small-group online clinics.

Our business-side consultancy helps organisations identify useful AI opportunities and decide which should receive attention first. This is separate from technical implementation.
